Outreach Navigator

The Outreach Navigator (ON) is critical in connecting pet owners in the field with Companion Animal Medical Project (CAMP) services. The ON will conduct weekly outreach visits in Bend, Redmond, and surrounding areas, actively building relationships with prospective clients—primarily low-income pet owners and those experiencing homelessness. By engaging directly with pet owners, the ON will assess their needs and link them to CAMP’s veterinary and pet retention services.

In addition to direct outreach, the ON will collaborate with various social service agencies across Central Oregon, facilitating referrals through an online platform to connect clients with appropriate local resources and partners. The ON will also coordinate referrals to relevant agencies and veterinary partners, track all client "touches" and services provided, and maintain detailed records of each interaction.

To ensure clients receive the most effective support, the ON will continuously update resource information and foster strong relationships with social service providers and partners. This role is essential in ensuring that CAMP’s services are accessible to those who need them most, helping enhance the well-being of pets and their owners within the community.
